DETROIT (WWJ) A crash killed a Detroit child while he was crossing the street on the city's west side, according to police.
Detroit Police said the crash occurred on Saturday, October 17, at 3:18 p.m. at Puritan and Coyle. Two vehicles hit the 11-year-old boy in the street.
According to authorities, both drivers stopped at the scene and cooperated with officers of the DPD Fatal Squad Unit.
First responders pronounced the boy dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
