STERLING HEIGHTS (WWJ) - Have you seen this Halloween display skeleton? It's white, over 10 feet tall and hard to miss, but shop owners in Metro Detroit are still searching for the massive decoration after it was stolen from their property this week.
The giant skeleton display stood guard outside the Crypt Keepers Halloween Emporium shop in Sterling Heights off Van Dyke Ave. before it went missing Thursday evening, store owners said.
The shop's Facebook page said the alleged thief was caught by authorities on Friday, May 6, but the skeleton is nowhere to be found.
"He means a lot to us," the shop said via social media.
A reward for the skeleton's safe return has been offered.
Anyone with information regarding the incident has been asked to contact the store at 586-553-9144 or by email at cryptkeepershalloweenemporium@gmail.com.
Crypt Keepers Halloween Emporium is a family-owned business featuring Halloween costumes, masks, FX make-up, decorations and more.
