Have you seen Dayhanna? Police searching for 13-year-old Detroit girl believed to have run away from home

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Tips are wanted in the case of a young girl who went missing over the weekend on Detroit's west side.
According to the Detroit Police Department, 13-year-old Dayhanna Barbin left her home in the 3400 block of Ewald Circle on Sunday, January 7, at around 8:30 p.m. She didn't have permission to go out, police said, and when the teen did not return home she was reported missing by her family.
Barbin is considered a possible runaway at this time.
The teen is described as a Black female, 5'3'' tall and around 110 lbs., with black hair in braids, and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a navy blue jacket and tan 'Ugg' boots, police said.
Anyone who may have seen this missing child or who has any information about her whereabouts should call the DPD's 10th Precinct at 313-596-1001, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up (800-773-2587). Tipsters will stay 100% anonymous, and will not be required to speak to the police.
