DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are hoping a tip from the public can help them find a teenager who's been missing since Monday.
According to investigators, 14-year-old Asiya Murphy left her aunt's house in the 12000 block of Heyden on Detroit's west side without without permission, and did not return.
The teen was last seen at around 2:30 a.m. on May 29, police said.
Murphy is described as a Black female, 4'8'' tall and weighing around 110 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a gray bonnet, burgundy 'Nickelodeon' t-shirt, and blue jeans.
Anyone who may have seen this missing teen, or who has any information about her whereabouts is asked to call the DPD's 6th Precinct at 313-596-5601.
