DETROIT (WWJ) - A teenaged boy is hospitalized after he was shot while at a Detroit park on Thursday evening, police said.
As reported by WXYZ, gunshots rang out at the Skinner Playfield in the 12800 block of Kelly Road around 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 26.
According to Detroit police, an unknown suspect open fired in the area around the park and struck the 15-year-old child.
The boy was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident. What led up to the shooting remains unclear at this time.
