DETROIT (WWJ) A shooting in Midtown Detroit left a teen in critical condition.
Detroit Police said the shooting happened in the area of Beaubien and Mack on Tuesday, July 28 around 5:30 p.m.
According to police, the suspect shot the 17-year-old boy multiple times.
Authorities said the suspect is believed to be a "known gang member."
Police said the shooting happened during a fight between two groups. People pulled up in a black SUV and fired multiple shots at the victim. The suspect(s) fled in a black SUV in an "unknown direction."
