FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) -- An investigation is underway in Oakland County following the death of an 14-month-old baby.
Police say they discovered the baby boy dead on Sunday afternoon at the Motel 6 on Grand River Avenue near 10 Mile Road in Farmington Hills.
WWJ's Charlie Langton reports that authorities are not releasing specific details surrounding the death at this time, including where the baby's parents are from and who was involved.
Police did say that the child's parents were taken into custody in connection with the death, and the case will be turned over to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office at some point.
The investigation by Farmington Hills police is ongoing.
