(WWJ) There's a reminder from law enforcement to slow down on the freeway after an Ann Arbor man was caught speeding at 124 miles per hour in Washtenaw County, according to Michigan State Police
Police said the 18-year-old was stopped by a trooper as he was headed westbound on I-94 near Zeeb Road on Friday, July 3, on a Suzuki motorcycle.
He was cited for speeding and improper display of his license plate.
"Troopers across the First District worked hard this weekend to keep our roads safe. Most drivers did their part — but not everyone got the message about obeying the posted speed limits," officials said the MSP First District said.
"Traveling at these speeds puts not only the rider at risk, but every other person sharing the roadway. No destination is worth risking your life or someone else's. Slow down, drive responsibly, and help keep Michigan's roads safe."
