18-year-old Detroit woman reported missing early in July has been located: police

DETROIT (WWJ) - A young Detroit woman who was reported missing early this month has been found and is OK, according to police.

Authorities said Carlie Jordan, 18, disappeared on Saturday, July 1, after leaving her home in the 5200 block of Buckingham at around 2: 16 p.m.

Police said it was believed that Jordan was with someone in a white Chevy Tahoe.

On July 7, the Detroit Police Department released her photo to the public, asking for tips to help locate her.

Monday morning, police issued an update stating that Jordan had been recovered and is doing fine.

Police did not say where she'd been, and no further information was released.
