HARPER WOODS (WWJ) A shooting at a Harper Woods house party killed a 19-year-old Detroit man, police said.
Harper Woods Police said they responded to a home on Huntington, in the area of Eight Mile and Kelly, on Saturday, April 25, around 12:30 a.m. The caller reported a "loud house party" and "shots fired."
Authorities said officers arrived and found evidence of a shooting. Officers learned the victim had been taken to the hospital via private transportation. Medical providers pronounced him dead on arrival.
His name was not released. No further information was released about the circumstances leading up to the shooting or a suspect.
