
DETROIT (WWJ) A 19-year-old drowned in the Detroit River, police said.
Detroit Police told WWJ the young man was walking with his friends on Atwater Street around 1 a.m. Saturday, March 15, where the Princess Boat is docked.
He went on the other side of the rail, slipped and fell into the water, according to police.
His body was recovered about nine hours later, around 10 a.m.
His name was not released.
