DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are searching for the suspect in the deadly shooting of a 19-year-old man on the city's west side.
Police said the shooting happened on Thursday, November 6, on Rutherford-- in the area of Tireman and Greenfield. According authorities, the victim and the suspect got into a "verbal altercation" that escalated to gunfire.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.
No further information was released on the circumstances leading up to the shooting, or on the relationship between the suspect and the victim, if any.
The victim's name was also not released.
