FLINT (WWJ) -- Two people have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of one young man, and the wounding of a second, at a Flint gas station on Monday.
According to Michigan State Police, the suspects were taken into custody during a traffic stop on Tuesday, and they're now lodged in the Genesee County Jail.
At around 9:30 p.m. on July 1, MSP said shots were fired inside the BP gas station in the 4000 block of Clio Rd., at Myrtle Ave.
The victims — identified as an 18-year-old man and a 24-year-old man — were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds. The 24-year-old man died in the hospital, police said.
There's no update on the condition of the younger victim at this time.
No names have been released, as the suspects await an arraignment on the charges.
It's unclear what led to the shooting.
MSP said an investigation by the Flint Major Case Unit is ongoing.
