WYANDOTTE (WWJ) - A serial tire slasher in Wyandotte has police scratching their heads after almost two dozen cases of the vandalism came pouring in less than 24 hours.
The Wyandotte Police Department said the incidents occurred late in the night on May 17 and may have continued into the early morning hours on Wednesday.
Authorities said vehicles were hit between Alkali and Poplar Streets, east of the rail road tracks.
While officers are pursing leads, the Wyandotte Police Department said they are seeking the public's help and have asked the community to, "please comb through your home security cameras."
