MACOMB TWP. (WWJ) -- The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is piecing together the circumstances of a deadly crash, late Tuesday night.
According to investigators, the two-vehicle crash happened just before midnight on Sept. 29, along 23 Mile Rd. near Lancelot.
It involved a work van and a pickup truck, officials said, and the drivers of both vehicles were killed.
Witnesses near the scene said both the truck and the van appeared to be totaled.
So far, no details have as far as circumstances leading up to the crash, and there is no information about the two people who died.
Twenty-three Mile Road was closed for several hours at the scene, reopening to traffic at around 5 a.m. on Wednesday.
