WHITE LAKE TWP. (WWJ) – Two people are in custody after two teens were found shot to death near a pond in Oakland County over the weekend.
Police received a call shortly before 9 a.m. on Saturday after someone found an unresponsive person near a pond in the Cedarbrook Estates Mobile Home Park in White Lake Township.
Authorities found a 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds lying near the pond. The victims' names have not been released.
Police officials say two people are in custody, but did not disclose any information about the suspects.
A motive in the case is unclear.
White Lake Township police officials say they are still investigating and will be seeking prosecution. More information will be released when charges are filed, police officials said.
