
ROYAL OAK (WWJ) — With the calendar flipping to August on Thursday, Labor Day weekend is fast approaching, meaning it’s almost time for a Metro Detroit end-of-summer tradition: Arts, Beats & Eats.
On Wednesday organizers of the festival unveiled this year’s music lineup, which features more than 200 performances across nine stages, running Friday, Aug. 30 through Monday, Sept. 2 in Downtown Royal Oak.
Headliners on the national stage include longtime rock band Tesla, country star Dustin Lynch, rock band Chevelle and R&B legend Keith Sweat.
Other well-known names on the national stage include Cheap Trick, The Cadillac Three and the Gin Blossoms.

The art fair will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday through Sunday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, while food and drinks will be available from dozens of local food trucks and restaurant booths.
