
DETROIT (WWJ) -- The public is being asked to keep an eye out for a missing woman in Detroit.
Police said 23-year-old Laurell Diaz left her home in the 5100 block of S. Martindale to go to the grocery store at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, and she did not return.
Diaz is described as a Black female, 5'6'' tall and weighing around 300 lbs., with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black short sleeve shirt, beige or brown pants and multi-colored Jordan shoes, according to police.
Police said she left in her dark blue Dodge Caravan that has damage on the passenger side.
According to her mother, she has bipolar disorder.
