FLINT (WWJ) -- Michigan State Police are investigating the death of a young man in a shooting in Flint on Friday.
MSP said Flint Police Department officers, along with troopers from the MSP Flint Post, responded at around 5:15 a.m. on June 27 to a report about multiple shots fired in the 1300 block of Pierson Rd.
When they arrived in the area, officers we flagged down by a man who said a man was dead inside his home.
Police said the victim has been identified as a 23-year-old man, although his name is not being released at this time.
No arrests were announced, and what led up to the gunfire is still unclear, as the investigation by Flint Major Case Unit detectives continues.
