(WWJ) A man is in custody accused in a deadly stabbing at a Monroe County hotel.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said officers were called to the Quality Inn on North Dixie Highway near I-75 at 11:30 p.m. Sunday on report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, deputies found a dead man in the parking lot.
Another man was found in the hotel lobby and taken into custody. Police say an altercation lead to a stabbing.
The victim and the suspect are both 25-year-old men from Monroe. The suspect is being held in the Monroe County Jail.
