MONROE TWP. (WWJ) -- A 27-year-old Monroe Township man has been charged with murdering his brother, and assaulting his parents.
According to prosecutors, Tyson Grant of Monroe Township allegedly attacked his 15 year old brother last Saturday at a home, which was later set on fire.
His mother and step father were also found cut and stabbed in the burning home, on Raintree Blvd., in the area of Custer and Telegraph Rd.

On Friday, officials said Tyson Grant was at a Lucas County Hospital after fleeing to Ohio.
The Monroe County Prosecutor's Office said he's being treated for injuries he suffered in the incident.
Grant is charged with one count of open murder, two counts of assault with intent to murder, plus carjacking and assaulting/resisting a first responder/police officer.
He is expected to be extradited back to Michigan to face those charges once he's discharged from the hospital.
The motive and circumstances leading up to the assault are still unclear.
