GAYLORD (WWJ) - Authorities in Michigan and Virginia are searching for a missing woman from Gaylord after she was last seen in Metro Detroit over three weeks ago.
The Michigan State Police from the Gaylord Post have asked for help from the public in locating Alexandria 'Lexie' Gorman, 27, of Gaylord after she disappeared on October 16.
According to authorities, Gorman, a Gaylord native, was staying in Sterling Heights before she supposedly left her job, boyfriend and home behind.
Police said 27-year-old left "suddenly and without notice."
"Her mother spoke with her in October and Gorman stated she was in Virginia Beach, VA," police said in a prepared statement. "Her social media accounts have gone inactive, and her phone goes to voicemail."
State police added they have contact authorities in Virginia about Gorman's disappearance and are aiding in the search.
