(WWJ) -- The search is on for three golden retrievers who were released somewhere in mid-Michigan following a divorce settlement.
A post on the Great Lakes Golden Retriever Rescue Facebook page says the trio of female golden retrievers -- named Annabelle, Lucy and Pinky -- were supposed to be transported to the Golden Retriever Rescue of Michigan in Auburn Hills to be put up for adoption after the couple's split.

However, it was reported on Dec. 14 that the husband had removed the dogs from the home and “dumped” them somewhere between Potterville (west of Lansing) and Carson City.
An update on the post on Dec. 20 says the dogs may have been seen on Wright Road, near westbound I-96.
Anyone with information on the dogs’ whereabouts should contact Golden Retriever Rescue of Michigan’s Intake Director at (734) 620-0933.
