TAYLOR (WWJ) -- Taylor Police are looking for three persons of interest connected to the deadly shooting of a 14-year-old boy last weekend.

Police did not provide any photos of information about the people they are looking for, but posted an online tip submission sheet for people to remain anonymous.

The shooting happened at around 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, on Pine Street, near Eureka and Telegraph Rd.

Taylor Police Chief John Blair said the teen and a group of people got into an argument that escalated to gunfire.

A suspect pulled out a gun and fatally shot the teen, identified by family members as Trey Kimber, who was preparing to begin classes at Ecorse High School this fall.

Blair told WWJ that officers were looking through "numerous video sources" to identify the suspects. No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information about this case can contact the police department at 734-287-6611, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP (800-773-2587).

As always, those who call the tip line will stay 100% anonymous, and will not be required to give your name, speak to police or to testify in court. The public can also submit anonymous tips online at this link.
