
(WWJ) Who killed Lauren Cook?
There's a new call for tips in the case of a 30-year-old Detroit-area woman who was gunned down in her own home nearly four years ago.
In a news release Tuesday, Crime Stoppers of Michigan said the family of Lauren Cook is asking for information in the unsolved murder of their loved one.
At around 1 a.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021, investigators say Cook was inside her home on Geneva Ave. in Highland Park when armed men entered the home. They fired shots, fatally wounding Cook.
There have been no arrests in this case, and a motive for this murder is unknown
Crime Stoppers said it is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest of whomever killed Cook.
Anyone who has any information that could help solve this case is asked to make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 1-800 SPEAK-UP (800-773-2587).
