At long last, the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit is here! This weekend, Downtown Detroit will play host to the NFL’s marquee offseason event from April 25 through April 27. With hundreds of thousands of people expected to descend on Detroit for the weekend, there are loads of events for fans all across the city and Metro Detroit area. 2. Eastern Market's NFL Draft Night Market
Check out the Eastern Market Night Market during Draft weekend! Eastern Market Partnership will be hosting this special event on Friday, April 26 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., featuring Eastern Market vendors selling in Sheds 3 and 4, with live music and entertainment under Shed 2 in celebration of the NFL Draft coming to Detroit. In addition, The Metro Black Business Alliance will be hosting their “BLK Market” night market featuring local vendors selling goods and food, with live music in Shed 5.

Get ready to “eat, eat, repeat” in one of the most incredible food cities in Metro Detroit! Dearborn Restaurant Week is a celebration of Dearborn’s food culture, and offers a great opportunity for restaurants to connect with existing and new customers to showcase superb dishes that will have you coming back for more. Dearborn Restaurant Week aims to cultivate and promote the diverse culinary experiences Dearborn has to offer.

4. Palmer Park's Art in the Trees
For one day only, artists bring their large scale sculptures, paintings and some music, and spread it out in the old growth woods at Palmer Park during Art in the Trees as part of the annual Earth Day celebration. Many of these pieces don't come out often because of their immense size — so don’t miss your chance to take them in! Art by Tim Burke, Dale Teachout, Dick Cruger, Cheryl English, Donald Calloway and Kelly O'Neill and more. Commission a piece for your yard or take one home from this event.

5. Mitten Vintage Night Market
Get ready to shop til you drop with some of Michigan’s top vintage sellers! Join 60+ vendors at the Royal Oak Farmers Market this Saturday evening at the Mitten Vintage Night Market. Shop styles from the 40s through the 2000s with a wide variety of vendors from all over the Midwest, with vintage clothes, sneakers, jewelry, and much more. This is a FREE event, though early bird shoppers will be allowed beginning at 4 p.m. for $10. Food trucks will also be on-site for some good eats!
