1. Michigan Made Festival

Celebrate all things great about the Mitten state at the 5th annual Michigan Made Festival! This event at Canterbury Village in Lake Orion will feature some of the best local crafters with Michigan-made items, beers, cider and wine, a variety of food options and shopping. Enjoy live music from Drew Alkema in the afternoon, and a free Kids Zone with bounce houses and games! Worked up an appetite? Grab some barbecue or stop in at the Yates Cider Mill stand for Michigan-made ice cream, donuts, and handcrafted drinks.

2. Novi Taco Fest

It's a Metro Detroit taco extravaganza! With over 30 taco trucks serving up the tastiest tacos in town, Novi Taco Fest is a food extravaganza you won’t want to miss! Whether you like it hot and spicy or prefer something milder, the choice is all yours. You can also browse through an artisan market, groove to live music, take in some epic Lucha Libre Wrestling matches, play fun yard games with the family, show off your moves with Mexican dancing and Salsa, and if you are feeling brave, sign up for a sizzling hot pepper eating contest

3. Cider Dayze

The weather is cooling down and Cider Dayze are among us in Michigan! Join Blake’s for their 9th annual premier cider, beer, food and live music festival hosted by Blake’s Hard Cider, Blake’s Brewing and The Armada Lions Club! This year’s festival will feature 50+ craft breweries, food trucks, live music, beer stein holding contest, giant jenga, a silent disco, cornhole, giant beer pong and much more!

4. Hazel Park Art Fair

The Hazel Park Art Fair prides itself on being an art fair for all! This year, attendees can check out dozens of artists and vendors of all mediums and experience levels, along with live demonstrations from the artists themselves. Plus, enjoy local music, along with aerial performances from the D3 Circus Troupe. Artisan food vendors will offer delectable snacks and guests 21+ years of age will be able to stop by the charity craft beer tent, which will feature beers from local breweries.

Saturday, August 24 - Sunday, August 25 at Green Acres Park in Hazel Park

5. SW Fest

SW Fest is a free, large-scale arts & music festival that happens annually in Southwest Detroit. This year’s lineup includes 40 artists and over 100 vendors offering community resources, art, clothing, jewelry, and lots of local food options. The festival takes place on the grounds of the historic Senate Theater on Michigan Ave, with performances throughout the day on the Coney Stage, Senate Stage, and Main Stage.
