1. Blake’s Annual Sunflower Festival
Enjoy the sunshine at Blake’s Annual Sunflower Festival over the next two weekends! Stroll through the fields of sunflowers and then shop from the open-air artisan market featuring over 200+ local artisans. Plus, enjoy DIY workshops, receive access to the sunflower maze that features endless fun for the whole family, and more! Take in the lovely sights and smells all weekend long at Blake's Orchard & Cider Mill.

The Shelby Township Art Fair will return this weekend to celebrate its 41st anniversary! The beloved art fair at River Bends Park provides a great experience for over 15,000 visitors who come from near and far each year to enjoy the weekend’s festivities, which includes over 120 artist and marketplace vendors. There is also tasty food, live musical entertainment, a kid’s craft and activity area, and more!

3. Detroit’s Ribs and R&B Music Festival
At Detroit’s Ribs and R&B Music Festival, revelers will be treated to an amazing summertime celebration of barbecue and great music! The festival features an outstanding lineup of local barbecue experts and grilling gurus serving up tasty ribs, brisket, and chicken, plus live entertainment featuring a variety of talented R&B and soul singers. And it all happens with a beautiful backdrop of the city at Hart Plaza!

Bring your furry friends for a tail waggin' good time in Lake Orion! Head to the beautiful Canterbury Village to enjoy a full weekend of dog-themed entertainment at Canterbury Dog Weekend. Stroll and shop at a variety of dog-friendly vendors for special treats, toys, costumes and more. Plus, you may even meet your new family member by visiting one of the local rescues that will be on-site! It all happens this weekend at Canterbury Village.

5. Milford Memories Summer Festival
Before the summer is over, get ready to make some memories in Milford! The 2024 Milford Memories Summer Festival offers fun for the whole family, with a slew of activities and events including an art show, sand volleyball, a cornhole tournament, rock climbing tower, kids zone, great food and more. Plus, the 21+ crowd can enjoy a beer tent with live music each night. And on Sunday, sign up for the Milford Memories 5K Run or the 1 Mile Fun Run.
