1. Cars Under the Stars Fireworks Spectacular

Sunday, June 29
M1 Concourse in Pontiac

Park your car at the M1 Concourse Sunday night for the Cars Under the Stars Fireworks Spectacular! There will be live entertainment, family activities, food trucks and craft beer. Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:45PM, but gates open at 6:30PM, so get there early for a prime spot.

2. Taylor Summerfest

Thursday-Sunday, June 26-29
Heritage Park in Taylor

Look for great live music, carnival rides and fireworks as the four-day Taylor Summer Festival returns to Heritage Park. A highlight this year is the Friday night concert, featuring performances by Sebastian Bach, Hinder, and Finger Eleven on a brand new stage.

3. 4th of July Michigan Made Fest

Saturday & Sunday, June 28-29
Canterbury Village in Lake Orion

The grounds will be filled with local crafters, artists, and small businesses selling a variety of handcrafted goods. Then grab some classic outdoor barbecue and sweet treats from Yates Cider Mill. There's also a free Kids Zone with bounce houses and games.

4. Concert of Colors in Mexicantown

Saturday, June 28
Mexicantown Mercado Plaza in Detroit

This 2nd annual event features Latin Grammy Nominee, Ruben Garza, and his Tex Mex band among others for a performances showcasing different styles of Latin music. Come enjoy live music, dancing and wonderful food from 1 p.m.-8 p.m.

5. Detroit Burger Battle

Sunday, June 29
Eastern Market in Shed 5 in Detroit

What began as a celebration of all things 'burger' quickly became a friendly competition amongst the best chefs in the Metro Detroit area. The spirit of the event as a celebration of great food and friendship remains, while up to 15 restaurants compete for the title of TOP BURGER! Attendees will also find array of local merchants and vendors, so get in a little shopping between burger samples and a refreshing drink!
