1. Meadow Brook Hall's Winter Wonder Lights

Get into the holiday spirit at Meadow Brook Hall's Winter Wonder Lights -- Michigan's most dazzling outdoor event! Enjoy a self-guided tour featuring unique light displays across the grounds of Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester. It will be a special evening of lights, music and magic where visitors can explore the National Historic Landmark at its most festive. Indulge in some glow-in-the-dark cotton candy and hot meals in the outdoor café, plus seasonal and specialty drinks, bonfires and more!

2. Mitten Vintage Night Market

Get ready to go vintage in Royal Oak! Head out to the Mitten Vintage Night Market at the Royal Oak Farmers Market on the evening of Saturday, Dec. 21, featuring 50+ vendors offering the best in vintage fashion, accessories, streetwear, home decor, and so much more. Whether you're a vintage enthusiast, collector, or just looking for unique pieces for you or to give as a holiday gift, this is the event you don’t want to miss! This is a free event, however you can buy early bird tickets to shop 1-hour earlier.

Saturday, Dec. 21 from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. at the Royal Oak Farmers Market in Downtown Royal Oak

3. Grinch Weekend at Canterbury Village

Join in for a holiday hoobie whatty during the Grinch Weekend at Canterbury Village! Very special guest the Grinch will be there in the village for a special meet-and-greet, and selfies with attendees. There is no cost, but organizers ask those taking photos to donate a non-perishable food item to The Village Food Pantry, which will be collecting this weekend. All village stores will be open for holiday shopping as well. Grab a cup of cocoa, take in the decorations throughout the village, and find those last-minute holiday gifts!

4. BYOB Christmas Light Trolley Tour

Whether you made the naughty or the nice list this year, the BYOB Christmas Light Trolley Tour is sure to be a good time for all Metro Detroiters! Dust off that ugly Christmas sweater, hop on the Traditional Christmas Trolley or the decked out Grinchmas Bus, and get ready to explore some of the most extravagant Christmas Lights that Metro Detroit has to offer! Rides happen in the evenings on select dates from now through Dec. 30.

5. Jingle & Mingle Ferndale Bar Crawl

Get ready to light up the night during the last weekend before Christmas at the Jingle & Mingle Ferndale Bar Crawl! Throw on your most festive holiday gear and gather your friends for a magical evening of holiday cheer. Walk through Ferndale’s beautifully lit streets and explore six amazing venues, each decked out in stunning holiday decorations. Participating locations include Boogie Fever, Syndicate, SOHO, 215 West, Bosco, Orchid Theatre and Bobcat Bonnies. Crawlers with wristbands will enjoy discounted themed drinks at every stop, and special holiday photo backdrops and holiday props will be found along your crawl.
