1. Glow Stick Nights at Dodge Park
Head out to Dodge Park Ice Rink in Sterling Heights this weekend for an open skate at a special edition of Glow Stick Nights where you can shake your groove thang! Grab a free glow stick and take a spin (or several!) around the rink while enjoying a fun '70s theme. Other upcoming themed nights will include 80s Night, 90s Night and 2000s Night! The 70s-themed Glow Stick Nights at the Dodge Park Ice Rink happens this Saturday, Jan. 4 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. in Sterling Heights.

Join in on some winter fun this season at the Winter Park at Bowers Farm in Bloomfield Hills! Grab the whole family for glow tubing (snow not required), roasting s'mores, a winter play area, farm animals, plus other food and special activities. A special tubing surface makes the activity fun in any weather. Winter Park will be open now through February, Wednesdays-Sundays. Glow tubing sells out fast, so get your tickets in advance!

Grab your family and friends and shop a variety of wedding vendors for ideas and deals, see the latest looks at the bridal fashion show, register to win great giveaways and more! It will be all-weddings, all weekend at the Novi Bridal Expo on Saturday, Jan. 4 and Sunday, Jan. 5 at Suburban Collection Showplace.

4. HOCKEY: Faster Than Ever at The Henry Ford Museum
HOCKEY: Faster Than Ever at The Henry Ford Museum takes you on an exciting journey through the evolution of ice hockey, showcasing the remarkable technical advancements and scientific breakthroughs that have shaped the sport over time. From cutting-edge technologies to the physics of play, the exhibition will leave you amazed by the fusion of science and sport. Test your skills and knowledge like true hockey pros with a variety of exciting interactive activities. You can also snap a selfie with a real ice resurfacer, explore fun displays, and more. The final buzzer has almost sounded on this exhibit, so catch it before it’s gone!

It’s the final weekend to check out the fun and unique shops of Cadillac Square at the Downtown Detroit Markets! Whether you’re window shopping or on a spree, you can find locally made, one-of-a-kind gifts from a collection of curated Detroit vendors offering specialty apparel, accessories, jewelry, bath products, home décor, children’s toys, pet goods, books, snacks and more in this outdoor marketplace. And while you’re there, grab a drink and a snack from the Cadillac Square Lodge and skate on over for a spin around the Rink at Campus Martius.
