1. American Polish Festival & Craft Show

The American-Polish Century Club will once again host the American Polish Festival & Craft Show this weekend in Sterling Heights! The annual festival will feature live music and dancing with the biggest names in Polka Music, along with the finest Polish Dance Ensembles in Michigan. Sign up for the 10th Annual "Srodek's Pierogi Eating Challenge," then enjoy a cocktail at the Polish Pub, or a beer at the Beer Tent. The Kielbasa Café is also back with the polish nachos, polish sliders and more.

2. Detroit Taco and Tequila Fest

Get ready for some great eats and great times during a beautiful summer weekend on Belle Isle! Detroit Taco and Tequila Fest is an outdoor tequila festival hosted at the field next to Belle Isle Casino. This festival will feature 100+ tequilas, along with a few other drink options including beer. In addition to the great beverage selection, there will be food trucks with a variety of delicious choices, plus live music, vendors and more!

3. Greenhouse of Walled Lake Summer Kickoff Party

If it's summer, it must be time for the annual Greenhouse of Walled Lake "Summer Kickoff Party"! This year's event will feature a spectacular fireworks show at dusk. Throughout the day, attendees will be able to meet and greet with Red Wings star Darren McCarty, listen to country music from Louie Lee, Audrey Ray and WYCD's Rob Stone, and dance to the beats of DJ Bam. There will be food trucks galore, along with a large beer tent, plus a Big Cornhole Tournament where players can win great prizes. The Howell Nature center will also be on site with small animals and their fun "hands-on museum" for children of all ages.

4. Sunset at the Zoo

Put on your dancing shoes and get ready for an unforgettable evening at this 21-and-older fundraising gala at the Detroit Zoo! Sunset at the Zoo will provide guests with a sensational evening that includes decadent dishes from local restaurants and food trucks, handcrafted beverages from bar and drink locations throughout the Zoo, live entertainment and carousel rides, and a silent and live auction. During this fun-filled celebration, guests will also enjoy exclusive nighttime access to many of the Detroit Zoo's expansive animal habitats, guided tours and more!

5. Downtown Berkley Pride Block Party

Downtown Berkley Pride Block Party welcomes all LGBTQ+ community members, allies, and organizations to come together for an afternoon celebrating diversity, inclusion and community! The 3rd annual installment of the event will feature a stellar lineup of activities for all ages! Check out live music, a kids tent with crafts and face painting, a teen lounge with games and crafts, vendor booths, food trucks, drag queen storytime and bingo, and so much more!
