The Livonia Spree is back to kick off summer 2024! Each year, the people of Livonia celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the city with a week-long birthday party. Held at Ford Field at the corner of Farmington Road and Lyndon, Livonia Spree runs the last full week in June, with something for everyone in the family, including delicious food, great music ranging from country to jazz, a fantastic family carnival, and of course, the Grand Finale Fireworks Extravaganza on Sunday night.

The 99.5 WYCD Hoedown powered by your Metro Detroit Ram Truck Dealers returns to Pine Knob Music Theatre this weekend! This fantastic two-day event will have headlining performances by Luke Bryan on Friday and Saturday nights, and feature a variety of other amazing country acts across two stages, including performances by HunterGirl, Chase Matthew, Alana Springsteen, Ella Langley and more! Gates open Friday at 3 p.m. at the West Gate Stage. Get ready to party — country-style!

3. Hour Detroit's Best of Detroit Party
Grab your dancing shoes and get ready to celebrate because Hour Detroit's Best of Detroit Party returns this weekend to Downtown Detroit. The Best of Detroit Party was developed to bring to life Hour Detroit's annual June issue that announces the highly anticipated results of its annual readers' survey. Over 1 million votes decide on the best of businesses, places, traditions, and people in Metro Detroit. The metro area's best crowd attends this chic soiree where they're able to dine, drink, dance and discover their way through Hour Detroit's Best of Detroit list.

4. Mt. Clemens Independence Day Celebration
Celebrate America's Independence Day at Clinton River Park during this weekend's Mt. Clemens Independence Day Celebration! The evening's festivities kick off with the River Sight & Sound Concert, and The Spooky Sterling Band will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. to deliver an exciting mixture of Motown, Classic Rock, and R&B music. Get ready to enjoy an upbeat, fun-filled show with high-energy entertainment, all culminating around a stunning fireworks show beginning at dusk.

5. Michigan Made Fest in Canterbury Village
Celebrate Independence Day and your Michigan Pride at the summer edition of Michigan Made Fest in Canterbury Village! The historic grounds of Canterbury Village will be filled with local crafters, artists, and small Michigan businesses selling a variety of handcrafted goods. In addition to the vendor market, the small shops of Canterbury Village will be open as well with a unique range of themed gifts, souvenirs, and apparel. Then grab some classic outdoor barbecue, sweet treats from Yates Cider Mill, handcrafted drinks and more! The event will also feature live music and a free Kids Zone with bounce houses and games.
