Motor City Pride, Michigan's largest pride celebration, returns to Detroit this weekend! With over 40,000 participants, the volunteer-run organization works to foster pride and respect for the LGBTQ+ community. Over the course of two days, check out four stages of entertainment featuring dozens of performers, plus food booths, vendors, activities for kids, and of course, the Pride parade!
Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 at Hart Plaza in Detroit
Get ready to roar at “Dinosaurs in Motion” at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation! Experience prehistoric animals like you’ve never seen before and move or engage with 16 life-size metal dinosaurs. Go beyond the limits of natural history, and meet these metal dinosaurs inspired by real fossils and built using recycled materials. This limited-engagement exhibition is designed to be highly interactive, and runs through September.

The Berkley Art Bash has been turning Twelve Mile into an art filled street party since 2001. This beloved festival attracts crowds of over 10,000 that come to find hip, handmade wares from over 170 artists and makers, and enjoy street eats and fun kid activities. Presented by the Berkley Chamber of Commerce, this festival also showcases the wonderful shops, restaurants and businesses that make Downtown Berkley a thriving community. Be there Saturday and have a fabulous time with your family!

4. Bark & Brew
Leader Dogs for the Blind will be hosting the 8th annual Bark & Brew event this weekend! Bark & Brew will once again be partnering with Rochester Mills Beer Company in Downtown Rochester for an outdoor, family-friendly event! Support Leader Dog while enjoying a famous Rochester Mills brew, live music, a kids' play area with inflatables, carnival games, rock wall and more! Plus, meet & greet Future Leader Dogs, Leader Dogs in training and working Leader Dogs.

5. Pewabic Pottery House & Garden Show
The Pewabic Pottery House & Garden Show kicks off this weekend!
Shop Pewabic’s 2024 Summer Collection and the work of dozens of ceramic artists from across North America. Plus, check out live wheel throwing demonstrations and sculpting demonstrations, outdoor sculptures, and a weekend biergarten with live music and food trucks. Enjoy a strolling tour of the studios, and the opportunity to explore 120 years of Detroit’s National Historic Landmark Pottery through the expanded museum exhibition “Pewabic: Detroit’s Pottery.”
