1. Halloween Dinner Adventure at The Whitney
Champagne toast to The Whitney Family and celebrate Halloween in style at the 10th annual Halloween Dinner Adventure at The Whitney in Detroit. Enjoy a four-course dinner, selected spirits throughout the evening, live piano music, and Spirited House Tours and History by Dye Paranormal. Plus, get Halloween-only access to the mansion's basement, the Canfield Building and the haunted Carriage House. There will also be special magical guest performers, a musical performance of “The Haunting of Broadway” and more!

2. Detroit Riverfront Dia de los Muertos Celebration
The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy is proud to host a family-friendly event celebrating the cultural traditions of Dia de los Muertos this Saturday at Robert C. Valade Park along the East Riverfront in Downtown Detroit. The fourth-annual Dia de los Muertos Celebration is free and features food, live music, ballet folkorico, local vendors, children’s activities and more. There’s also a colorful ofrenda to honor and remember lost loved ones. The ofrenda is located in The Shed at Valade Park and is open every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Nov. 4.

3. All Things Detroit Holiday Shopping Experience & Food Truck Rally
Ring in the festive season at the All Things Detroit Holiday Shopping Experience & Food Truck Rally on Sunday, Nov. 3, for a day filled with festive joy and excitement. With over 200 small business vendors offering unique gifts, delectable food trucks serving up delicious bites, live music to get you in the holiday spirit, photo ops with Santa for the little ones, and a local art exhibit showcasing talent, this event promises to be spectacular! Don't miss out on the biggest holiday shopping event in Detroit!
Sunday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Eastern Market in Detroit
Youmacon returns to Detroit this weekend to celebrate Japanese animation, video games, pop culture and costuming! This unique, all-ages event is filled with interactive games, competitions, celebrity guest panels, live musical performances and more! Plus, shop anime merchandise, artwork, figures and other collectibles in a massive 150,000 sq. foot marketplace. Youmacon happens Thursday, Oct. 31 through Sunday, Nov. 3 at Huntington Place in Detroit.

5. Vintage American Glassware Show
Get your glassware on at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center this weekend with the Vintage American Glassware Show, and get a head-start on some holiday shopping! Dealers from across the country will be selling American-made vintage glass created before 1980. All are welcome, including collectors or anyone who wants to see a 15,000 square foot room filled with glass of all colors, shapes and sizes. Check it out on Saturday, Nov. 2 and Sunday, Nov. 3.
