1. Royal Oak Vodka Fest

Shaken, stirred, mixed or neat, Royal Oak Vodka Fest has something for all vodka lovers! Attendees can meet brand ambassadors from vodka suppliers who will offer their unique insight on a variety of products that will be available to sample. Plus, enjoy food from local vendors, and a live DJ and dancing to round out the evening in grand fashion! Royal Oak Vodka Fest happens Saturday, Nov. 9 from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. at the Royal Oak Farmers Market.

2. Motor City Comic Con

This weekend, Motor City Comic Con soars back into Metro Detroit! Gathering dealers and exhibitors from across the country, Comic Con offers a variety of pop culture merchandise, including unique art, comics, anime, movie memorabilia, posters and more. Meet and chat with comic book creators, writers and artists, as well as dozens of celebrities from the television and movie industry. This year's guests include John Cusack, Robert England, Matthew Lewis, Andy Serkis, John Cleese, Ron Perlman and more!

3. Christmas Plymouth Makers Market

Ring in the festive season at the Christmas Plymouth Makers Market! This year is going to be packed with 32 Makers that fill the venue with items to bring you holiday cheer! Shop the market and enjoy the handmade wares from artisans, boutiques, local food establishments and more. This year, there will be no admission fee, and special Market Bags will be offered to the first 50 guests through the door.

3. Detroit's Architect: The Albert Kahn Bus Tour

Join The Albert Kahn Legacy Foundation on Detroit's Architect: The Albert Kahn Bus Tour and visit Albert Kahn's most significant and influential buildings across Detroit during a 3-hour tour. Together with your guide, you'll learn about the varying styles and constructions of Kahn's most notable buildings, as well as the revolutionary advancements made by the firm. From telephone companies to automotive giants, country clubs to synagogues, and everything in between — you're invited to explore Kahn's Detroit!

5. Christmas in Clawson Craft Show

Now in its 40th year, the Christmas in Clawson Craft Show has provided the Metro Detroit area with a venue for beautiful arts and crafts, and has grown into the area's largest juried craft show. The holiday shopping season starts here, where you can find special, one-of-a-kind gifts, from soaps and candles and quilts and jewelry to furniture and beyond, all hand-made by dozens of talented artists. All proceeds from this non-profit, volunteer-run charity event are proudly donated to Clawson's public school students, teachers, and families directly through local PTOs and PTSAs.
