1. Detroit Fall Beer Festival

It's fall and that means it's time for the Michigan Brewers Guild 15th annual Detroit Fall Beer Festival in Eastern Market. With Michigan's top breweries in action, the event offers a vibrant atmosphere to enjoy local beers, indulge in delicious bites, and soak in the live tunes—all against the historic backdrop of Eastern Market in Detroit. Cheers to good times and great brews!

2. Sterling Frights

It'll be a howling good time at the annual Sterling Frights Halloween event in Dodge Park this weekend, for children 12 years of age and younger. There will be music, hay rides, a straw maze, crafts, photo opportunities, inflatables, trick or treating, rides, cider & donuts, and more! The Upton House will also be open for tours from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., where visitors can connect with Sterling Heights’ past with photos, displays, and more!

3. Monster’s Ball 2024

Detroit's BIGGEST annual Halloween party returns to welcome 2,000+ haunted souls to a celebration that keeps Detroit talking about it every full moon throughout the year! Monster’s Ball 2024 features some of the area’s hottest DJs spinning on multiple stages and performances by Haunted Circus Performers including stilt walkers, high wire aerialists, acrobats, illusionists and more. The party goes down Saturday, Oct. 19 at 8 p.m. at the Russell Industrial Center in Detroit.

4. Canterbury Village Halloween Stroll

Stroll though Lake Orion's quaint Canterbury Village along a path lit by orange glowing lamp posts and hand carved jack-o-lanterns at their annual Halloween Stroll event! Experience encounters and exhibits with live characters through pumpkin trees, the spooky carousel house, scarecrow row, singing and dancing skeletons, the tunnel of fun, and much more! The Halloween Stroll happens every Friday through Sunday throughout the month of October at Canterbury Village.

5. Heritage Park Boo Bash

It’s Halloween at Heritage Park, and the city of Farmington Hills is celebrating with its annual Boo Bash! Dress up in your favorite costume and head out to enjoy a hayride, s’mores, crafts, a creepy crawly creature display, and a trick or treat trail. The event runs from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. When registering, please select your hayride time, which run every 15 minutes. Registration required for both adult and child, and a paid adult must accompany children on the Hayrides.
