1. Henry Ford’s Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village

What’s the most enchanting, nostalgic and fantastical Halloween adventure? It’s the Henry Ford’s Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village, Michigan's premier outdoor October celebration. From harvest activities and fall themes to costumed storybook characters and ghostly performances, our Hallowe’en tradition is one of a kind, showcased within the bewitching setting of Greenfield Village after hours. Hosted over 16 evenings in October, Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village is formatted for guests to stroll through the village at their own pace, picking and choosing their own festive or frightful experience.

2. Detroit Harvest Fest & Food Truck Rally

Join the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy in celebrating the fall season at the Detroit Harvest Fest & Food Truck Rally! This family-friendly event takes place along the Dequindre Cut Greenway and will have something for everyone! Enjoy a variety of food from 50 of Metro Detroit’s most popular food trucks, check out four music stages featuring local artists, a children’s stage with fun and interactive shows, plus trick-or-treating, a pumpkin patch, and the Cirque De Freight Yard featuring buskers, psychics, circus themed cocktails and more.

3. Skeletons are Alive Launch Party

Get ready for a spooky good time! The skeletons return to Downtown Northville on Friday for the 13th annual Skeletons are Alive Launch Party! The evening is a fun, family-friendly event and is free to the public. There are plenty of Spooktacular events scheduled, including fire jugglers, live pumpkin carving, food trucks and Social Bones will be rocking in the Town Square. Guests can also shop at all of the incredible downtown stores and enjoy food and beverages from the wide variety of Northville restaurants. There will be over 120 Skeleton Vignettes, so find your favorite Skeleton and take a selfie!

4. Best of Fall at Bowers Farm

Mark your calendar to experience the Best of Fall at Bowers Farm! Join in on the seasonal fun for this annual, family-friendly event for all ages. Enjoy a weekend filled with fall farm activities, plenty of food, live music, pumpkins, demonstrations, bounce houses, games, crafts, axe throwing, climbing towers and more! Adults can make a visit to the Beer Garden, sponsored by Friends of Bowers Farm. It’ll be the perfect way to kick off the fall season in Metro Detroit!

5. Spooky Spirits at the Detroit Zoo

Dress to impress in your favorite costume and get ready to drink up at the Detroit Zoo’s Spooky Spirits event! This exclusive, 21-and-older tasting event is sure to be a frightfully good time. Get an exclusive first look at the BRAND-NEW Jack O’ Lantern Journey experience, featuring illuminated pumpkin displays, fall decor and plenty of photo opportunities. Plus, enjoy a scary-good selection of drinks, a fun-filled costume contest, spooky tarot card readings, bone-chilling live entertainment, zookeeper chats and more!
