1. Halloween Stroll at Canterbury Village

Stroll though Lake Orion's quaint Canterbury Village along a path lit by orange glowing lamp posts and hand carved jack-o-lanterns at their annual Halloween Stroll event! Experience encounters and exhibits with live characters through pumpkin trees, the spooky carousel house, scarecrow row, singing and dancing skeletons, the tunnel of fun, and much more! The Halloween Stroll happens every Friday through Sunday throughout October at Canterbury Village.

2. Rochester Posed

Head to Downtown Rochester for an evening of shopping, dining and live mannequins at the 11th annual Rochester Posed! Participating businesses will turn their storefront windows into live mannequin displays for a fun, family-friendly evening downtown. This year's theme is Heroes vs. Villains. The public will vote for their favorite live mannequin display, with text-to-vote available from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Specific details will be listed at each of the participating locations.

3. Detroit Harvest Fest & Food Truck Rally

Join the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy in celebrating the fall season at the Detroit Harvest Fest & Food Truck Rally! This family-friendly event takes place along the Dequindre Cut Greenway and will have something for everyone! Enjoy a variety of food from 50 of Metro Detroit's most popular food trucks, check out six music stages featuring local artists, a children's stage with fun and interactive shows, plus trick-or-treating, a pumpkin patch, and a Beer and Wine Garden at the Dequindre Freight Yard with adult costume contest, psychics and more!

4. Zoo Boo at the Detroit Zoo

The Detroit Zoo's beloved annual Halloween extravaganza, Zoo Boois back for three enchanting weekends of "merry-not-scary" fun for all! The park will transform into a new theme each weekend — Nerd Out in Nature, Monster Mash & Movies, Book and Make Believe. Don your costume and experience activities like trick-or-treating, educational stations, Halloween face painting, habitat chats, themed photo opportunities, and captivating entertainment from jugglers, magicians and more.

5. Pontiac Harvest Festival

Head to Downtown Pontiac for the 2nd annual Harvest Festival this weekend! Harvest Fest 2023 is designed to kick off the fall season into full swing. This vibrant event guarantees incredible memories for friends and family, featuring plenty of apple cider, fresh donuts, rock climbing, bounce houses, a live DJ, and a chance for you to try your hand at pumpkin bowling! Join in the fun at Pontiac City Hall on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
