1. Made in Michigan Festival

The 2023 Made in Michigan Festival is the state's premier celebration of everything that makes our state great. With so many fun activities, there is something for everyone, including over 100 local artists and makers, food trucks, and snack vendors serving up every Michigan favorite: pasties, fudge, sliders, BBQ, and more. Plus enjoy a selection of Michigan craft beer, cider, wine, and seltzers, and of course, Faygo pop! And if that wasn't enough, check out some great local music, and a Mitten Kids Activity Zone bursts with crafts, activities, children's entertainment, and more.

2. North American International Auto Show

The North American International Auto Show is revving up for its final weekend in Detroit! NAIAS features brand-defining vehicles, product ride-and-drives, dynamic experiential activations, a chance to preview emerging mobility technologies and more. Experience over 20 attractions, events, and shows all about vehicles and the ever-growing technology behind them. The public show happens through Sunday, Sept. 24 at Huntington Place, Hart Plaza, and across Downtown Detroit.

3. DIY Street Fair

The DIY Street Fair returns to Ferndale this weekend! This beloved, annual 3-day event features bands, artists, crafters, Michigan breweries, restaurants, food trucks, businesses and more. Those who live and work with a Do-It-Yourself ethic and spirit converge for one big celebration. DIY and its sister event -- the Funky Ferndale Art Fair -- happen Friday, Sept. 22 - Sunday, Sept. 24 in Downtown Ferndale.

4. Fire and Flannel Festival

Warm up for fall with the Fire and Flannel Festival this weekend in Downtown Wyandotte. Enjoy fire magic acts, live chainsaw carvings, a carnival, lumberjack shows, live music and more! Food trucks and fall crafters will also line Maple Street between Biddle & the Yack Arena. Fire and Flannel lights up Downtown Wyandotte from Thursday, Sept. 21 through Sunday, Sept. 24.

5. Festival of the Senses

Enjoy a variety of sights, sounds, smells and more at the Festival of the Senses in Clinton Township! This two-day art festival features the work of artists from across Michigan and beyond. While shopping for one-of-a-kind art pieces, patrons can also enjoy live entertainment, participate in children's activities, tour historical buildings and taste the delicious samplings from a variety of local restaurants.
