
(WWJ) There's going to be more beautiful late-summer weather this weekend in Metro Detroit — and there are plenty of fun thing to do to get out and enjoy it!

1. Northville Victorian Festival
Friday-Sunday, Sept. 19-21
Downtown Northville
Set against the backdrop of historic downtown Northville, this year's Victorian Festival promises to celebrate our community's rich heritage and vibrant spirit. There will be food, live entertainment, kids' activities and more — and a fundraiser for local nonprofits and community groups.
2. Disney On Ice presents Frozen & Encanto
Thursday-Sunday, Sept. 18-21
Little Caesars Arena, Detroit
Bring your Disney-loving littles to Detroit for excitement on ice! It's a double treat for princess fans, with the magical adventures of Frozen and Encanto. And it'll be a Michigan homecoming for Kalamazoo skater Nikki Czuhajewski, who's staring as Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Get tickets.
Friday-Sunday, Sept. 19-21
East side of Woodward Ave., Downtown Ferndale
This much-loved annual event brings bands, artists, crafters, breweries, wineries, restaurants and food trucks together in Ferndale for one big celebration! Bonus: Happening at the same time is the Funky Ferndale Art Fair will feature wares from over 140 artists, plus music and activities, west of Woodward on 9 Mile Rd.
4. Metroparks Night of the Dragon Festival
Saturday, Sept. 20, 3PM-11PM
Indian Springs Metropark, White Lake
Part medieval Renaissance festival, part nature event, and all fun! The Metroparks invites everyone to don their medieval costumes and enjoy live performances and entertainment. For the kids, there's the Dragon Trail, bouncers, crafts, and strolling performers throughout the evening. There will be a costume contest for kids and adults, and BBQ food offerings available for purchase. When the sun goes down, enjoy night sky viewing of the stars! This event is FREE, but a Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required.
Saturday, Sept. 21, 10AM-4PM
Eastern Market Shed 5, Detroit
Join some of the best flavor makers, purveyors, artisans, and food organizations of Detroit and surrounding areas, all under one roof! You’ll be able to bring home a selection of scrumptious bites. Plus, shop hand-crafted kitchen wares, check out the hottest food trucks, and more.
