MECOSTA COUNTY (WWWJ) A West Michigan man died in a snowmobile crash.
The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office said they were called to a 1 ORV snow mobile crash on White Pine Trail, near 180th Avenue, on Saturday (January 25) around 3:35 p.m.
White Pine Trail is about 40 miles west of Mt. Pleasant.
Their investigation revealed the man from Newaygo County was traveling south on the rails of trials, when he veered off the trails and crashed into trees.
Mecosta County EMS, Mecosta Township Fire and Rescue and Meceola Central Dispatch assisted the sheriff’s office.
The 60-year-old died at the scene. His name was not released.
