Police say a 78-year-old man was hit and killed while walking across 7 Mile at Evergreen just before 8 p.m. Monday.
He was struck by a Dodge Charger.
The driver of that car continued down the street after striking his victim, leaving him to die in the street.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
