ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - Three people were injured, with one in critical condition, after their vehicle wrecked in Ann Arbor early Saturday morning -- and police believe booze and speed are to blame.
The Ann Arbor Police Department said officers responded to Plymouth Road and Broadway around 4 a.m. on March 16th after receiving reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Officers arrived to the scene and found the vehicle occupied by three people well off the road and wrecked in the parking lot of a local business.
According to the department, a 19-year-old female driver and a 19-year-old female passenger were taken to the University of Michigan ER with minor injuries sustained in the crash.

The third occupant, a 20-year-old male passenger, had significant injuries and was rushed to UM Hospital where he is in critical condition.
Ann Arbor police were assisted at the scene by the Ann Arbor Fire Department.
An investigation remains ongoing, but police said alcohol and speed both appear to have contributed to the crash.
No other details were released.
