DETROIT (WWJ) — The search is on for a group of three suspects wanted in connection with a shooting at a Detroit gas station earlier this month.
It happened on Friday, Feb. 7 at a gas station on McNichols near Meyers and the Lodge Freeway, according to the Detroit Police Department.
At some point the suspects were inside the gas station when they got into an argument with the victim.
The argument escalated to a physical fight and one of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired a single shot, injuring the victim.
The alleged shooter and the other two suspects got into a red Jeep and sped away, according to police.
Authorities did not release any information about the victim and the extent of their injuries was unclear.
Detroit police on Monday released photos of the suspects inside the gas station. Anyone who recognizes them is asked to call DPD’s 8th Precinct detective unit at 313-596-5840, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP, or submit a tip online at DetroitRewards.tv.
