DETROIT (WWJ) – The search is on for a group of suspects involved in a shooting that stemmed from an argument on Detroit's northwest side Monday night.
Detroit police officials say a suspect, believed to be 20-25 years old with long dreadlocks, opened fire around 10:15 p.m. in the 22000 block of 7 Mile Road, near Lahser Road.
A man in his 20s was injured in the shooting, according to police. The suspect fled the scene with three other people in a black 2010 Chevy Malibu.
Authorities have not said exactly what sparked the argument or whether the victim knew the suspects.
Police on Tuesday released a photo of the suspected shooter, along with the three other people he was with.

The photos show the suspects walking into a store, a Project Green Light partner. Authorities did not identify the store, and it was not immediately clear whether the shooting happened at the store.
Detectives are asking for help from the public identifying the suspects seen on camera. Anyone who recognizes them or knows something about the shooting should call the Detroit Police Department's 8th Precinct at 313-596-5840 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
