'Armed and dangerous' man sought in home invasion, shooting [PHOTOS]

(WWJ) Police in Monroe are actively searching for a person of interest in a home invasion and shooting.

Officers are trying to locate Anthony Deshawn Nicholson-Dortch, Jr. after it's alleged he forced his way into a home on E. Third Street before midnight on Sunday, armed with a gun, and threatened the 31-year-old victim.

Witnessed told police there was a fight, and two shots were fired. The dispute continued outside where at least one additional shot was fired.

No one was injured, and the shooter fled.

Nicholson-Dortch is 25 years old, 5'9'' tall and weighs around 157 lbs. He has some distinctive facial tattoos -- including an explicative scrawled across his forehead (blurred in the photo) and some numbers.

Police said Nicholson-Dortch is considered armed and dangerous.
