(WWJ) -- Two weeks after cancelling, a message posted on the Ann Arbor Art fairs’ website says the State Street Fair is back on for July.
The announcement comes after Governor Whitmer announced last week that capacities for outdoor events would be lifted on June 1.
Officials in Ann Arbor say they consulted with city leaders, and they have decided to “officially rescind" the cancellation.
"We can't wait to once again fill the vibrant streets of downtown Ann Arbor with our Fine-Artists and Vendors," the organizers wrote in a statement. "We are looking forward to a safe and successful event this summer."
The State Street Fair will run as a three-day event from July 15 through July 17.
Meanwhile, officials in Wyandotte say they will return with their annual festivities this year as well.
The Wyandotte Street Art Fair -- which is set for July 7 through July 10 -- draws 200 artists and 200K visitors to the city’s downtown streets.
