AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) -- Police in Auburn Hills are investigating what appears to be a deadly hit-and-run involving a pedestrian, early Wednesday morning.
The victim was found in the middle of South Boulevard, near Auburn Hills' border with Bloomfield Township.
Police responded to the scene where the body was found in the roadway. They closed South Blvd., west of the I-75 overpass and east of S. Opdyke Rd. for the on-scene investigation.
The victim has been identified a 41-year-old man, WWJ's Mike Campbell reported, but police are not releasing his name at this time.
It's not yet clear exactly what happened, as the investigation continues.
