(WWJ) A 5-week-old Detroit girl reported missing and thought to be in danger has been found.
Michigan State Police State Police said midday Friday that Samira Blackmon was located and is safe.
Police Thursday morning issued an Endangered Missing Advisory for the infant, after they said she was last seen Thursday evening with her mother, Jakayla Atchinson, in the Albion area.

Police said they believed that Samira may be in danger, after Atchinson failed to turn the baby over to Child Protective Services.
It[s not clear where exactly the child was located, or if the mom could face charges. No further details about the baby's recovery were provided.
